Oopsie

Went up to Unley by a different route this morning and came home the same way because it was more direct.
Took a laneway from Hardy Street to Weller Street. There are two places where they have staggered poles so you cannot go through with a car. I have been able to carefully navigate through them.

Must remember what sides of roads I took because some footpaths were rather thin and some impossible to navigate. Had an oopsie tonight but I was still kept ✟✟ from having a serious accident. My front wheels came off a footpath 😳😮 trying to turn a corner.  There was hardly any footpath between the downward slope where you are supposed to go off the footpath properly and the building itself. The scooter manual says not to ride off footpaths, but I decided to bring the back off. Thank goodness it was still in one piece when I came fully down. Street was quiet so I stayed on the street until I got to the end of it. Then back onto footpaths.

I have finally turned my speed up full recently- whenever the ground is relatively smooth and the way is clear. I do feel more confident now,  that the scooter will slow down or stop depending on how much pressure I put on the throttle. (Although I still have a bad habit of clenching the throttle to the handle [which makes the scooter go faster] whenever I am a little worried. I don't think I ever relax - maybe one day I will. I will however  put it down 'just in case' in areas there are lots of people - alfresco areas, shopping centres and pedestrian crossings where I have  to press the button for the light to change.
